I understand that websites are there for a reason – to produce enquiries, sell products or to get information or services to users.

Sitting and waiting for a website to be stumbled upon is not enough. My sites are built to go out and get visits – through Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), social media sharing and by collecting email followers.

Site content and text will be clear, concise and establish the relevance of your site for both users and for search engines such as Google or Bing.

The core purpose of the site is the starting point for the design process, so that users are quickly and easily taken where you want them to go – whilst being shown why you are the right choice on the way.

I build websites to look good and work well on all devices and screen sizes – from mobile phones to large, high-resolution desktop screens.

My sites are created in the knowledge that most visits will be from mobile devices, and that sites that behave like apps on phones and tablets keep users happy and engaged!

All of my sites are thoroughly tested for appearance, ease of use and navigation on desktops, laptops, tablets and phones – and in each of the most commonly used web browsers, including Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Opera and Edge.

I build websites using the popular WordPress content management system – which now powers more than 1 in 4 sites on the internet.

WordPress provides an intuitive way to manage day-to-day changes to content, manage shop orders or bookings, write blog posts and to keep your site purposefully connected to your social media accounts and email followers.

I provide initial training in the use of your site, and ongoing support. I also maintain backups of my clients’ sites and ensure that site software and plugins are kept up to date.
